L.E.C. CLAY was founded by 2000 by Lyn Clinton in New Orleans. In a few short years, she grew L.E.C. to over 500 stores in North America. These included specialty retailers, boutique hotels and department stores. L.EC. CLAY made charitable donations to organizations including: Little Bit Riding Center, ACRC, Alzheimer’s Assocation, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Hands & Feet, among others. L.E.C. CLAY has also been used in private home stagings and is found in the collections of Hilary & Bill Clinton. |

However, in 2005, Lyn's business was suddenly impacted by Hurricane Katrina, and she lost her entire studio and warehouse to flooding. Resurrecting her business on the west coast and in the mid-west enabled her to expand even further. In 2006, her company, Evie & Linci began importing her goods and she started to use her resources to help other artists and small manufacturers do the same. Building a strong team of leaders with international trade experience as well as an understanding of her goal and the arts, they have successfully helped over 200 other artistic businesses succeed. |
